The Intimate Landscape

Landscape photography is typically thought of in terms of the grand vista, using wide angle lenses that capture everything from the very near to the very far - majestic mountains, winding rivers, desert landscapes that disappear into nothingness at the horizon. With these photographs I honor the more intimate and personal landscapes that we happen upon along the way, the small beauties we find right at our feet that are often ignored.
